Food charity for children receives €1,000 donation from PURPLAN in Wallenhorst

On March 7, 2023, Hanna Sandmann and Martin Brüggemann from the company PURPLAN in Wallenhorst presented a donation check of €1,000 to Hermann Große-Marke, the chairman of the Osnabrücker Tafel, the food charity for children.

Over half of the donation amount was raised through an auction. During the Oktoberfest in 2022, Polaroid cameras were provided by PURPLAN. The photos taken were subsequently auctioned among colleagues for this good cause. The other half of the sum was contributed by PURPLAN.

PURPLAN Employees Receive Masks as Gifts from China

PURPLAN received a call from a customer in the crisis-stricken area of Wuhan, China:

"We still have protective materials left from the major crisis, and now we want to help the countries that are currently affected by it."

The call came from a customer in Wuhan, China. The customer gifted PURPLAN 3000 sterile mouth and nose protective masks.

PURPLAN agrees cooperation with Gesamtschule Schinkel

As part of the the Chamber of Industry and Commerce project "Cooperation between schools and industry" PURPLAN has concluded a contract with the Osnabrück comprehensive school Schinkel for cooperation in the field of vocational orientation. At PURPLAN, pupils can experience the world of work in a practical way through company tours, internships and technology days. The cooperation helps young people to get an idea of qualifications and job requirements at an early age.

"Gigantic help for students": PURPLAN donates dosing system for Hochschule Osnabrück, University of Applied Sciences laboratory

As a long-standing cooperation partner of the Hochschule Osnabrück, University of Applied Sciences, PURPLAN provides the laboratory for control technology with an innovative dosing system worth around 20,000 euros. This "mobile scale" in industrial format is intended to acquaint students with the interaction of control, information and process engineering in practical laboratory courses.

University of Osnabrück as the most successful university in Germany at the Deutschlandstipendium Since 2011, the University of Osnabrück has been recruiting Germany scholarships.

Since 2011 PURPLAN has been a class sponsor of the Angelaschule in Osnabrück to enable pupils to read the NOZ.

They belong to the Internet generation - but don't want to miss a daily newspaper: Numerous pupils (...) use the newspaper subscription as part of the "Klasse!Paten" project. The respective issue of the NOZ is available daily in the work and study library.

The project "Klasse!Paten" has arrived in the classrooms...

...sometimes the newspaper gives the impulse, in order to look in the net for further information, sometimes it is reversed.

...The conclusion: "This is quite comfortable!

PURPLAN is a family business in Wallenhorst in the Osnabrueck region actively led by its owners. We are proud to remain above all, regionally bound. We know where we come from and advocate strongly for the region, that has made us successful. PURPLAN is actively involved with MINT-Netzwerk Wallenhorst (Link: www.mint-wallenhorst.de) the Network for Advancement of Mathematics, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, and Technology.

In addition to our political engagement in Wallenhorst and the district of Osnabrueck, our cooperation with local schools is a natural extension of the company’s community involvement. For many years, we have sponsored classes at the Alexander School in Wallenhorst with financial contributions and mentoring of young people regarding possible paths to a rewarding job. We also promote talents and support the Initiative Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research in Berlin (Link: www.deutschlandstipendium.de). Students from universities and universities of applied sciences write their thesis with us. Many of them remain in the company and develop and develop their skills as employees of PURPLAN.
