Special

The filling arm was specially developed for the filling and metering of liquids into barrels.

Design

The unit itself consists of 3 main components: the filling and metering device, pallet scales and weighing terminal.

The filling and metering device is composed of the steel column and the cantilever arm.

The metering lance and its peripherals are installed on the cantilever arm.

It is fitted with 2 swivel joints which enable the filling lance to be traversed in the longitudinal and transverse directions. This means, for example, that a CP1 pallet can be loaded with 30 litre hobbocks be filled without further repositioning. Before filling, the cantilever arm is locked using a pneumatic brake device.

Height adjustment

Adjusting the height of the filling lance takes place using a rack-and-lever jack which is attached to the steel column and connects this to the cantilever arm. This makes it possible to fill different barrel sizes ranging from a 30 litre hobbock through 200 litre barrels, 1000 litre IBC containers up to 2000 litre KTC containers.

Palett scales

The pallet scales is provided for weighing standard industrial pallets. The advantage of this unit is that the pallet can be lifted using a lifting truck and transported onto the pallet scales without problems. This device is particularly suitable for areas which are difficult to access and in which loading by forklift is not possible.

Weighting terminal

The weighing terminal is the central control centre for the filling arm. The general procedures and parameters for different formulae are stored in it.

The unit can be supplied for EX or non- EX areas depending on your requirements.

Furthermore, customer-specific adaptations are possible at any time on request.
